A Question of Privacy: Our daughter knows that I write a blog on couples relationships. As yet I have not told her that I began blogging on her aging out process. I figure this is a conversation to have in person, with visuals. She has enough on her plate, as they say, without adding another possibly confusing or complicated topic from afar. I feel somewhat uncomfortable doing it without her knowledge or permission. For this and a host of other reasons, I leave out personally identifying information, such as names.

Blogging Together: However, I tend to be spontaneous in most situations and may just find an opportune moment to casually mention that I am writing about this journey, her’s and ours. When I do, I will invite her to think about writing her own posts on her experience. Who else would be better equipped to report from the scene than she, fully embedded indeed!
